The Phi Alpha Cup Executive Committee has released the schedule and pairings for the 2012 Phi Alpha Cup. The Committee has introduced a new scoring format with more emphasis given to the always-thrilling Captain’s Choice round. Given the true team nature of the Captain’s Choice format, the winner of the Captain’s Choice round will win the Phi Alpha Cup. According to the Committee, in the event that the Captain’s Choice round is halved, the team with the hightest point total from the Day 1 matches will win the Cup. If the Day 1 matches are tied between the two teams, the team who won the Cup the previous year shall retain the title and be deemed the winner of the Phi Alpha Cup. 2012 schedule and pairings are as follows:
